Sigholtz-Capital Chapter 1 is unique among Airborne Brigade Association chapters. It promotes camaraderie among its members, provides information to members and non-members, supports the active Brigade, and cares for wounded and infirmed Sky Soldiers in the National-Capital area. Chapter 1 has also provided initiative, leadership, venue, or support to National events/activities, including support to Wounded Warriors, hosting National reunions, wreath laying at the Vietnam Memorial, establishing the Brigade Marker at Arlington Cemetery, representing National at Arlington Cemetery, and leading in the establishment of a Brigade memorial. Sigholtz-Capital Chapter 1 is dedicated to its motto: Serving Sky Soldiers Past, Present, and Future.
